A minimalist form and a reduction to the essentials: That is the CLASSICO Color LS. The CLASSICO Color LS reflects light diffusely with its silk-matt surface and sets the scene for plants both indoors and outdoors. The pot is equipped with an exchangeable plant insert with a retractable handle frame. This insert forms the separating base in the pot, making it easier to transplant and clean the pot. It also allows the roots to grow into the water reservoir and be pruned as needed.
Just like the other planters from the CLASSICO line, the original LECHUZA irrigation system is also integrated here. The planter is resistant to weathering and has a base screw that allows excess water and rainwater to drain away. This means that the CLASSICO Color LS can be used both indoors and outdoors.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Intelligent self-watering
system inside each planter
1. Planting
Place the plant with LECHUZA-PON in the planter liner or directly in the planter.
2. Watering first days
Water from above for the first 2-3 weeks until the roots reach the water reservoir. During this time, check the plant soil or the LECHUZA-PON substrate just below the surface for moisture and water when it is dry.
3. Self-watering
After this period of top watering, fill the water reservoir half way with water. If the water level drops in the next few days, the roots have grown into the reservoir. Then fill the water reservoir to «max.» and LECHUZA will take care of your plants from now on!
If the water level indicator shows «min.» after a few days or weeks, you should not refill immediately, there is still sufficient moisture in the granulate.
4. Dry-Phase Cycle
Please ensure that you allow your plant to breathe with a dry phase after every watering cycle is complete. This will allow the roots to grow strong and healthy and also provide the perfect balance of water and oxygen inside the planter.

LECHUZA planters consist of an external and an internal pot. Pots are different in height and due to this difference, a space is formed inside – a container for water.
There are drainage holes in the inner pot through which the water flows into the substrate. LECHUZA-PON draws moisture from a water tank.
A wet zone forms. For the first three weeks, the plant leaves its roots in the wet zone and begins to take the optimal amount of water and fertilizers for itself.
